This is seen as the beginning of your life together.  Now both you and the groom, have so many important decisions to makePlanning a Wedding - he has popped the question and you have finally said - Yes and planning a wedding involves a lot of preparation and tasks to complete before your special day. The preparation for your wedding day should be part of the experience and be fun and memorable.

 

Getting organized with planning your wedding ....

 

It need not be stressful. Carefully choose people you trust to help you and start your wedding planning.  You will eventually have a detailed wedding plan worthy of 'General Patton’ but at this stage start off by putting together a simple wedding timetable that will give you a quick overview and help you to plan ahead.   

Prepare a short list of wedding-related activities and tasks, as well as a rough estimate of when the individual tasks need to be completed.

This will enable you to identify the key activities and tasks that you will have to explore in much more detail later. It will keep you organized, timely and give you space to consider how you will plan the very important parts of your big day. 

 

These are merely our suggestions on planning a wedding to help you. Each and every couple will have their own preferences and priorities.

You may find the following suggestions and ideas helpful and some blatantly obvious, but you would be surprised how many very simple and obvious tasks get overlooked when planning a wedding, and then people get upset and stress raises its ugly head:
