Christmas Wedding Favours

Christmas Wedding Favours Melody MaisonLast week I met a bride who is gearing up for her wedding on December 17th, a week before Christmas Eve. Her celebrations are going to have a decidedly Scandinavian Christmas theme, and she has had the brilliant idea of using miniature Christmas trees as her table centres and hanging decorations on them that guests can take home as wedding favours.

This is a fabulous idea as you can combine your wedding decorations with your wedding favours, and your guests can take your decorations home to hang on the tree immediately. Every Christmas when they unpack their Christmas decorations they’ll think of you!

I’ve chosen a few gorgeous Scandinavian inspired Christmas decorations that would be ideal as wedding favours for winter weddings, although I won’t show you the ones she’s actually going to use as that would ruin the surprise.

The first are cute red and white birdie decorations from Helen Steel, the second are gingerbread style tree hangars from Melody Maison that look good enough to eat! The third is a hand painted dove decoration from BusyBlackbird at Yourindies.com, and the final choice are super soft heart and star shaped decorations from Berry Red.

Whatever season you are getting married in, combining decoration and wedding favours can be beautiful as well as economical.
